Farewell

The route starts in the dihedral to the left of Change and gains the long horizontal ledge. From there, traverse the ledge left until you reach a small traverse to an arete. Once on the arete, step down onto a good hold.

From here you’ll need lean over as far as can to begin a very long desperate traverse to to another arete. This traverse is the first crux.

Once you grab the arete, head up to a small ledge and get your feet on it. After that move up and left to the second easy traverse. Move to the end and do a few desperate steps to a small jug on your upper-left. Pull over the top of this and then quickly step up to get the next high hold.

After that you’ll reach the roof area. Getting through the roof is the second crux.

The best method is to move left before moving back right beneath the roofs. Once your feet are in the first roof, things become more straightforward. Get to the top-most roof and traverse right to a corner. Get in the corner and go up the dihedral a few steps to reach a handhold. After that, move into the wide-crack on your left.
