Spear of Longinus

Start at the lowest edge you can stand on, below the base of The Needle, and make your way up until you reach a brief but challenging chimney right before reaching the base of the tower. Once past that, avoid falling near the platform at the base of the tower as the game teleports you to the nearest solid ground (had to climb down couple of times to restart that portion). Take your time then as the key move to begin the actual tower ascent involves laybacking up an arete that is almost out of reach, risking the aforementioned teleportation.

There are good holds scattered throughout the route afterwards, they’re just slightly out of sight, so use that camera to find them. Towards the latter portion of the ascent there are some sections where you have to layback up several different aretes, while also having to switch your position in ways that risk Aava just completely falling off the wall. It’ll pretty much be like this until the end so those I’d say those sections collectively make up crux #2. Move slowly and carefully as you reach the end.

Make sure to reach the tip of the needle to complete the send!
