Happy to have you on the catalogue. Also, I viewed your profile. I need to check out Owens. I've climbed in Bishop many times, but never got over there.edited

@ManInAWhiteSuit Appreciate you! I turned up the brightness and was going to update it today, but thanks for saving me the trouble lol. And yes Owens is amazing and it's not just the climbing. The approach hike to upper gorge is stunning and there's some hot springs nearby too.

@ManInAWhiteSuit Question for you: If I've climbed a new route with some buffs but I think it can be done without them, I should select buffless, correct?

I would try your best to grind it out for the sake of accuracy. If you can’t seem to get the moves, it’s possible it can be done with chalk only making it grade 6x. Buffless routes are those which can be climbed even without chalk; a ceiling difficulty of 5c+, so I would not mark the route as a 6 or higher and then mark it buffless because it would not be possible. Check the field guide on the dropdown menu or the homepage to read about grades and styles. Let me know if you have any other questions. Always happy to help.

@everyone QOL update. You can now rate routes from the route list by clicking on the stars. A golden circle will appear next to routes that you have rated. Remember, rating routes requires a log, and it's recommended to redpoint routes before rating them. Hope this encourages everyone to rate every route they climb!

Yes, and then after the competition ends, voting will open up for everyone to place their vote. We keep it locked until the competition ends to give everyone a chance to play the routes beforehand. Winners will likely be announced a few days after the submission period ends.

I got into the out of bounds in Tenzen. But it's some Nutty Putty Cave. From the Tanatos place 1 hand on the flor so thatit goes transparent, then select a foot, place and cancel piton, repeat for the second foot and for a hand to drop under the flor. There are a few more layers beneath, so repeat the process and you'll get into a cave system. It's mostly teleports, so it's safer to explore while campusing. There is another big section above with less teleports that I got randomly sent flying once, but you can get there semi consistently by climbing up through the narrow hole behind the flat slab and then glitching through some walls.

It’s definitely easier than we remember. MIAWS stem tech makes the Dragos splits tech not required. I still did it in my video to stay true to your route, but you can actually traverse back left and then use MIAWS stem again on the left side. The top, however, is best done with splits. I re-rated it about a week ago to be more inline with the growth of ratings. It’s a soft 8c. (In old-school grades it’s roughly an 8). Some of your routes are still notoriously difficult even with the new tech (Inquisition, TH). If you compare other 8c’s with CC, I think you’ll agree it makes sense. PS: CC has become one of my personal favorites. Short and sweet. Oh, and if you want to make traverse really easy, if you step up twice on arete, you can just slow climb across and lose no stamina at all! (Again I skipped it to follow OG path).edited
